Abstrakti
The Social augmented reality (SAR) concept was created based on the outcomes of the cyclical and iterative process in researchbased design [1], workshops, field visits and interviews in order to support peer-to-peer informal learning at work. The context for which it was primarily designed for is application in the construction sector, intended for workers who would optimally use it in a form of a mobile app continuously throughout their working life. In practice, SAR is a design for a mobile application, which is essentially a platform for professional and social communication that enables augmented video call discussions around physical artifacts, actions or events between a help seeker and a help giver. SAR's most innovative feature, Vision Sharing, is technically functional and can be tested in various situations.
