This paper provides an update on the state-of-the-art of Operations Research and its practice in Finland. We cover academic Operations Research and applications. Furthermore, we discuss, as an example, the careers of Helsinki School of Economics OR/MS-graduates and their views on the usefulness of OR-education in Finland.
