Hybrid teams are a promising collaboration format for knowledge work. However, limited knowledge exists about the ways in which this collaboration should be organized in an efficient way. One poten- tial problem is the acceptance of machines as collaboration partners by humans. However, also hu- mans can render the hybrid teams inefficient by failing to acknowledge the social expectations of ma- chines in interaction. The proposed research aims at measuring and modeling the mutual social ac- ceptance between machines and humans as hybrid team members, by measuring their social tolerance towards the deviations from their expected ways of interacting, using multimodal video interaction analysis and literature on social behavior.
