N2 - The fifth generation mobile wireless communications steered services across a wide range of sectors such as transport, healthcare, retail, finance, factories, etc. Deployment of ultra-low latency and high bandwidth 5G networks has ushered the way to digitalization and automation across several business domains that lead to ginormous growth of data traffic and number of smart devices. In the next decade, the societal needs will continue to increase prolifically which will give rise to diverse use cases that cannot be served under the umbrella of 5G networks like holographic teleportation, XR, remote surgery, UAVs, etc. that would entail micro-second factor latency and Tbps level bandwidth. Apart from this, shift from Industry 4.0 to Industry X.0 in the next decade will shepherd the way for surge in connectivity density beyond the limits of what 5G networks promise. This also calls for the refinement of energy efficiency practices beyond 5G. As a result the research community is drifting its focus towards the next frontier in mobile communications, i.e., 6G wireless systems which are poised to accommodate use cases and linked technologies to overcome limitations and bottlenecks of current 5G networks. Along with the deployment of 5G networks taking place around the world, 3GPP Rel. 17 and Rel. 18 have started complaisanting the features that would be part of beyond 5G networks. Several R&D centres, universities, industries and standardization bodies across the globe have already led down its vision for 6G wireless and subsequently kicked off the research in the direction of their foresight. Since 6G is anticipated to be a decade away, every organization has made their own proposition of 6G wireless. However, in reality the 6G wireless use cases, requirements and technologies might or might not go beyond the speculations made as of today. This book aims to bring different prepositions being made from end to end perspective (as shown in Fig. 1.1) which can serve as a pre-standard research for various organizations working in a wide range of topics on 6G wireless. It aims to cover the end to end perspective of 6G in the following 20 chapters.
