The internationally toured and praise reviewed Crucible Studio production “Hello Homo!”, http://crucible.mlog.taik.fi/productions/homo/, in the Werstas’ ‘Delight and Prejudice’ exhibition, http://www.werstas.fi/, Tampere, Finland, 11 June 18 August 2013. Within the interactive installation for public spaces, three characters present online comments on homosexuality as tragicomic everyday beliefs and offer you a personal encounter with prejudice. “Everyday stories go through the history of LGBTIQ people during the last 40 years in this exhibition… The exhibition sheds light not only on the experiences of the minority people, being exposed to prejudices, but also on important turning points and love, of course. The exhibition combines cultural history and art into an exciting, bewildering and gay mixture.” -Werstas’ exhibition calendar (‘Delight and Prejudice’ on the page 4/24): http://www.werstas.fi/files/werstas_nayttelykalenteri2013.pdf See also the Mustekala review (in Finnish) of “Hei homo!” and Pesonen’s last exhibition Man Machines that included the “Homo”: http://www.mustekala.info/node/3105 The Facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/events/166705596833629/
