In this poster, we examine the possibilities digital services may provide to entrepreneurs in informal settlements where traditional employment is scarce. The literature and our fieldwork shows that the entrepreneurs can be separated to two main categories based on their motivations; surviving and growing. The different entrepreneurs need different digital services for support. We collect these needs in the DSE-model, which is presented as our contribution. Also considered are the ethical ramifications of push to entrepreneurship.
