Abstrakti

An underwater garden was exhibited as a part of the Biocolour exhibition. A miniature version of the exhibition space, populated with algae and shaped into a relaxing underwater garden. The small aquarium explores the use of seaweed as something alive and beautiful you could have at your home. The purpose of this piece is to demonstrate that there is aesthetic beauty and value in seaweeds, which are often only considered an environmental nuisance, both in aquariums and natural collections of water.
