Abstrakti
Here we present an anatomically realistic voxel model of an adult male. The model has been constructed based on anatomic atlases and scaled to resemble the ICRP 'Reference Man'. This model differs from existing whole-body models by being the first to consider skeletal muscle as an anisotropic tissue. The effects of skeletal muscle anisotropy on induced electric fields due to exposure to uniform magnetic fields at 50 Hz were also evaluated. The induced electric fields with anisotropic and isotropic conductivities showed only small differences.
