As humans, even if we have survival instincts encoded in their genes, we acquire most of our behavior from continuous learning. We experiment throughout our entire lives and learn how to react to numerous situations considering our surrounding environment. This is what we can refer as life experience and what for instance makes us more skilled and efficient over time. However, this useful learning process is still mostly unexplored in the context of electronic integrated circuits and systems. Why not giving them this opportunity? This is the objective of this project. In particular, we intend develop "self-learning" capabilities for integrated circuits and systems so that they can experience in the field and adapt their behavior accordingly. Thank to this, your future connected devices, as smartphones, smartwatches or health monitoring wristband can be more adapted to your needs, but also limit its power consumption to what is necessary to achieve its current task. As you do!
