The dataset contains information about war events related to Finland between 1914-1922, mainly the Finnish Civil War. The database on war victims in Finland between 1914 and 1922 contains information on war-related deaths in Finland from the beginning of the First World War to the end of the Kinship Wars in 1922. Most casualties in this database are victims of the Finnish Civil War or its aftermath in 1918. The data has been transformed into Linked Data in cooperation with the Semantic Computing Research Group at Aalto University, as part of the Sotasurmat2 project. The database contains some 40 000 names and it is owned and maintained by the National Archives of Finland. In addition the dataset contains information about the battles of the Finnish Civil War based on records of the National Archives of Finland.
