The dataset contains spatially-resolved small and wide-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS, WAXS) data measured from three Norway spruce samples (Adry, Awet, Bwet), by scanning over a 3 mm times 3 mm area with 101 times 101 equally spaced data points in each of them.
The scattering data is provided in zip-files as 2D NumPy arrays, with dimensions (91, 694) for SAXS and (183, 773) for WAXS. The first dimension in each array (row number) refers to the azimuthal angle phi, which extends from approximately 0 to 90 degrees. The second dimension (column number) refers to the magnitude of the scattering vector q, which is given in inverse Angstroms (Å^{-1}). The file names of the npy-files containing the scattering data include the sample name and numbers indicating the row number (first, starting at an arbitrary number for the first row) and column number (second, starting at 0) of each data point in the sample space (total 101 times 101 data points per sample).
In addition to the scattering data, the following files are provided:
Values of the azimuthal angle phi for SAXS and WAXS.
Values of the magnitude of the scattering vector q for SAXS and WAXS.
Mask files to be applied to mask out erroneous data points.
