Description
Forest pDT: Biodiversity Digital Twin for Finnish Forests and Birds This is the first public release of the Forest pDT (Prototype Digital Twin) developed under the BioDT project. The repository provides workflows and models to simulate forest dynamics and predict biodiversity patterns in Southern Finland. This release includes: Forest simulations using LANDIS-II Biodiversity modeling using HMSC (Hierarchical Modelling of Species Communities) Prepared input datasets for Southern Finland at 100m x 100m resolution 21 scenario combinations covering 7 forest management strategies under 3 climate scenarios Workflow scripts for data preparation, model execution, and result processing Result datasets, including predictions of forest structure and bird species distributions Related publication: Afsar et al., 2024.
