At its heart is an anemometer—a rotating helix traditionally used to measure wind speed—which becomes both sensor and instrument. Connected to a microcontroller, it translates the invisible dynamics of the wind into evolving sonic frequencies. These sounds blend with the ambient rhythms of the site, composing a living score that shifts with the weather and time of day. Rather than imposing upon the landscape, the device seeks to resonate with it, attuning itself to the presence of space, the atmospheric flux, and the more-than-human life that inhabits the coast.
