This interactive seminar brings together academics and practitioners from the private and public sector to share insights on supporting displaced persons in Finland. The seminar focuses on two key questions: how to offer immediate support and relief to individuals arriving in Finland and how to effectively help them integrate into the labor market as employees or entrepreneurs. The workshop program consists of brief introductions to the recent research done at Aalto on these topics, presentations from leading NGOs working with refugees and asylum seekers, and a panel discussion.
