In this workshop, participants collaborate to create new (fictitious) medications to cure social and political problems. Through active brainstorming and hands-on visual production, ‘New Pills for World Ills’ allows for playful exploration of the concept of medicalization, and the marketing strategies of direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical advertising.
