The vast amount of electricity data that has been made available over the past years represents an opportunity to better measure and assess the operations of the power grid. Given the urgency of climate change, electrification is critical. However, there are still debates as to how to properly account for electricity emissions. In this talk, Olivier Corradi, founder of Electricity Maps, will give an overview of how data can power the transition to a truly decarbonised electricity grid.
