    Description

    Beyond Matter Fellowship is a paid travel grant programme for selected Aalto MA students, carried on as part of the Beyond Matter – Cultural heritage on the verge of Virtual Reality project, and run by Professor Lily Díaz-Kommonen.

    It consists of nine short-term positions (three-months duration) at major museum and art institutions in Europe throughout the years 2020–2022. The objectives are to support mobility and research experience in areas related to arts, heritage and digital technologies.
    The fellowship programme has been carried out in collaboration with the Systems of Representation research group at Aalto School of Arts, Design and Architecture. Cvijeta Miljak has been a  Beyond Matter Fellowship coordinator.
