Abstract
Viesti II/ Message II is a single channel video installation edited specially for public city spaces. Viesti/ Message II mixes images and sound from Rinne's earlier works Message I and Beautiful Confusion. Message II is edited so that it works without sound, too. Duration 2:41 min.

Message II shows messenger pigeons flying off and traveling above the forest. These birds symbolise peace and freedom, but the work is also an homage to the long tradition of telecommunication business in Salo.
