Fieldwork on the eviscerated post-Soviet mining landscape lead by the Roman urban art collective Stalker traced scenes from Tarkovsky’s film, starting from the entrance to the “Zone” in central Tallinn, and ending at Jagala waterfall and abandoned hydro-electric plant where much of the film was shot.
