Abstract

The method of out-of-furnace treatment of steel in the ladle includes feeding into the ladle into the melt of metal deoxidizers, alloying and slag-forming mixture containing calcium oxide and fluorspar, and purging the melt with neutral gas. In the slag-forming mixture is additionally introduced pegmatite, with this ratio of components, wt. %: fluorspar 6-14, pegmatite 18-26, calcium oxide - the rest.
