Abstract
A new technology for ferrosilicomanganese production from batch containing manganese magnesia sinter (5-7% MgO), with magnesia slag (9-12% MgO), in superpowerful RPZ-63 and RPG-63 electrofurnaces is discussed. This method of ferrosilicomanganese production is characterized by reduced consumption of manganese concentrates, quartzite, coke, and power.
