Abstract

Adapting to an ever-changing environment is a major challenge that nowadays organizations face. This paper approaches organizational renewal from the perspective of collaboration. In particular, we explore the impact that monitoring affect through digital technologies have on people’s ability to collaborate at work. We present early results from ongoing research on the quantification of human experience for augmenting intelligence in digital communication between work teams and in customer interaction (HUMEX project).
