    Abstract

Various genetic algorithm based adaptation mechanisms with the framework of the minority game was discussed. In this game model the strategies, which an agent used to decide the course of action was very good or best for the agent to survive. It was found that the adaptation was used to improve the performance of individual agents to tighten the competition among the agents and to drive the whole system towards maximum efficiency. The results from adaptive minority games and the basic minority game were compared and show the parameter dependencies of the performing game.
