Rotating nuclear demagnetization refrigerator for experiments on superfluid he3

A nuclear demagnetization cryostat, capable of producing submillikelvin temperatures during rotational motion, was constructed. The apparatus has been used for NMR experiments on superfluid He3 at angular velocities up to 1.5 rad s-1. The essential technical details and the operation of the cryostat are described.
