Abstract

We investigate the feasibility of roll-to-roll reverse offset (R2R-RO) printing technology for the mass fabrication of millimeter-wave antennas on flexible substrates. In this study, samples of coplanar waveguide (CPW) transmission lines and microstrip patch antennas were manufactured and measured. The results indicate that the R2R-RO printing technique can be an excellent candidate for the production of millimeter-wave and terahertz devices, since it has the advantage of low cost and high resolution.
