Abstract

The Resourceful Sharing project (in Finnish: Jakamisella Viisautta) (January 2023 - September 2025) aims to foster co-usable learning and innovation environments. The project partners are Aalto University, Aalto Campus & Real Estate, the University of Helsinki, and the City of Helsinki. The project is partly co-funded by the European Union. The project had four goals: (1) to increase understanding of the value that shared use of facilities brings to businesses and the public sector; (2) to provide experimental environments for businesses to pilot and validate their space and technology solutions in collaboration with end-users; (3) to strengthen innovation and research collaboration between cities, universities, and businesses; and (4) to promote the development of a sharing culture and disseminate proven operating models and practices. This report presents real-life examples, conceptual solutions, and best practices as modules for shared learning and innovation environments, based on the efforts to achieve goals 1-3. The report itself contributes to the goal of disseminating proven models and practices. Specifically, the modules are presented as cards using a consistent template. All the modules were piloted, explored, or observed during the project's pilots.
