Abstract
The definition of a broadband wireless network with support for seamless access to IP-based networks is one of the major objectives of the BRAIN project (Broadband Radio Access for IP-Based Networks). This paper summarises the user requirements for such network in aspects as network selection, autoconfiguration of terminal, transport capabilities and mobility management.
