Abstract

This paper gives an overview of the different sources of losses in a synchronous reluctance motor. The first section investigates different losses in the motor and proposes different calculation methods of power losses in a synchronous reluctance motor. In the second part, the experimental no-load test is proposed to measure the losses of the motor.
