Abstract
Studio Viippola presents a collection of everyday objects and textiles that bring joy to life.
Small rituals such as drinking morning coffee, listening to the radio, watering houseplants, or taking a walk in the nearby forest increase our daily well-being. Well-designed and carefully chosen objects support the enjoyment of everyday life and create a good atmosphere at home.
The exhibition and the studio’s open event is organized 13-16 September 2023 between 13-17. You can get to Viikinmäki with buses 71 and 506, and along the Vantaanjoki river by bike or on foot. The house is on a steep slope and during the event access to the ground floor studio is via the outside stairs.
A few different walking routes have been planned for the event for visitors to explore and experience, the walking routes can be downloaded from www.viippola.com/hdw-event-2023 or taken as a printout from the exhibition.
Thank you partners: Kazuma Co, Arabia, Innolux, Ilona Häsänen / Keramiikkaradio.
