    Abstract

    The “ADA” drama was a live broadcast from Dramaten, The Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. The Helsinki and Internet audience were able participate via Twitter and the web site. The story is about Ada Lovelace, born in 1815, daughter of the famous poet Lord Byron. Ada was a mathematician and visionary who foresaw that Charles Babbage’s analytical machine, the first computer, would have a revolutionary impact in the future. “ADA” follows her intense life story from childhood to her death at the age of 36. Written and directed by Rebecca Forsberg, actress Linda Lönnerfeldt. “ADA” is a part of the “The Women in Science” trilogy that highlights women scientists, scientific discoveries and today’s research.
