Abstract

The Association of Photographic Artists brings OTOS to Valssaamo Kaapelitehdas (Kaapeliaukio 3, Helsinki) for the first time from 2-5 November. In 2023, the photographic sales event will take the form of a free, public exhibition as well as an online shop. The exhibition will be open for four days, while the online shop will offer extended purchasing days until the end of November.

OTOS/23 is an opportunity to connect with the practices of photographic artists living and working in Finland. There’s plenty to see and experience with more than 285 artworks on view across a public exhibition and an online shop. The association prides itself in championing diverse and experimental practices within the expanded field of photography: in 2023, OTOS will showcase analogue (silver gelatin, cyanotype, lumen) and digital (pigment, giclee, sublimation print) wall-based works alongside sculptures and artists’ films.
