On linear and sesquilinear boundary conditions in electromagnetics

Abstract

The most general form of linear boundary conditions in electromagnetics can be expressed in terms of two scalar-valued equations of the form {mathrm{f} {1}(mathbf{E},mathbf{H})=0} and mathrm{f} {2}(mathbf{E},mathbf{H})=0, where f1 and f2 are two bilinear functions, each defined by two vector quantities.
