Abstract

Näytös22 is the annual fashion show of the Fashion degree programme graduates at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Helsinki, Finland.

Aalto University has established itself as a major player in the global fashion, clothing and textile industries. The collections of Master's and Bachelor's students will be presented at the fashion show, which is undoubtedly one of the most important fashion events in Finland.

Fashion on display in Helsinki

The event is part of the wider Fashion in Helsinki week. Its varied programme also includes an exhibition Aalto Fashion Collaborative Projects by Aalto University fashion BA students, which will be on display from 28 May to 5 June at Ilmarinen's premises at Fabianinkatu 29.

In addition, a book on fashion, identity and digitalisation by Aalto University researchers Annamari Vänskä, Jenni Hokka and Natalia Särmäkari, entitled Touch of Intimacy, will be published during the Fashion in Helsinki week from 30 May to 5 June 2022.

The information on artistic outputs in the Aalto Research Portal follows the reporting guidelines of Finland’s Ministry of Education and Culture.
