Abstract

The results of investigations into the phase formation in producing high-alloyed powder alloys of the Fe-Cr-Ni-Mn-N system by mechanochemical synthesis in various gas atmospheres are presented. The influence of the prolongation of the mechanical activation on the propagation of alloying elements over the bulk of the powder particle in the alloy and the change of the phase composition is shown. The nanocrystalline structure of the mechanically alloyed alloys of the Fe-18Cr-8Ni-12Mn-N system is shown. The hot plastic deformation of the fabricated powder alloy in the shell is investigated and its influence on the fine structure is studied.
