Abstract

manSEDANse is a week of startling seminars on new media & arts, fascinating talks, engrossing workshops, dramatic festivities and club nights. The annual festival was now held for the fifth time. The roots of manSEDANse festival date back to year 2000 when an underground rave by the name SEDAN 2000 was held at a Tamperean penthouse. The very first manSEDANse festival was organised in 2005. In 2007 (and onwards) manSEDANse also provided the official festival dj’s to the Tampere International Film Festival. manSEDANse 2011 continued this long line of efforts to bring new electronic arts to the wider audience. Visuals production included the production of videos and visualizations, and their screening, for the club held October 7th and 8th at Klubi, Tampere.
