Abstract

WiTLAB’s Interplay of Cultures Ghana Studio (2023-24) has collaborated with KNUST (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology) in Kumasi, Ghana, producing a joint exhibition to launch the collaborative project called Kumasi Trees -Project of the Hearts. Embraced by the Asantehene, the King of the Asante Nation in Ghana, the project aims at reinstalling the trees and greenery in the former Garden City, and establishing a long-term maintenance plan for protecting the environment.
