Abstract
The development and integration of language technology into healthcare information systems and digital services aimed at customers can significantly improve the usability of software, speed up recording, data discovery and processing, and promote the automation of processes. The constantly expanding text materials of health care are a valuable source of information and contain information that is not available in structured data. Language technology opens up new opportunities for the development of tools for the utilization of existing massive as well as small text materials for the needs of clinical work, information management and research. Technological development is very fast, many methods are in the development phase and healthy criticality is necessary. When evaluating technical performance, the human factors closely related to language technology must also be taken into account.
