Abstract

An electrochemical test method based on the Electrochemical Potentiokinetic Reactivation (EPR) test has been employed to quantify the degree of sensitization in Inconel 600, Inconel X-750 and Sanicro 31 H. Several standardized test methods have also been used and the results are compared. The electrochemical reactivation test is a useful tool for comparing the degree of sensitization between various sensitized conditions; however, determination of an exact quantitative value is difficult because of many variables.
