Abstract

An approach is proposed to increasing the resolution of a technique tor synthesizing the time reflection characteristics of a dielectric layered structure using extrapolation of the measured frequency dependence of the reflection coefficient based on solving the optimization problem using nonquadratic regularization. The problem is solved under the assumption of a finite support of the time response and the presence of an error in measured frequency data. In order to minimize the time response, the minimum duration method is used.
