    Abstract

Several universities in Europe and the US have pooled together to develop a model for quality management for CEE activities. The model includes tools for self-evaluation, strategic planning as well as for CEE benchmarking. This EFQM based model has been used by almost 50 universities since 2007, five of them in China. The model and tools have brought a valuable framework for improving activities of Aalto University School of Science and Technology, Lifelong Learning Institute Dipoli (TKK Dipoli).
