    Abstract

The paper outlines conceptual framework for Holonovel as an intelligent system that operates on the basis of narrative interaction. Under the idea of interactive interface that assumes narrative as a sense-making tool, embodied and situated aspects of engagement with the world are discussed. Theoretical framework based on enactive model of perception and cognition here underlines features of human-level narrative comprehension on which computational models of narrative can draw in their designs. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
