Developed in the context of the ma in fashion, clothing, and textile design at aalto university. this paper focu ses on creative direction as an essential process to coordinate textile collections. the primary goal was to create a methodology that combines weaving, printing, and industrial finishing techniques with creative direction, regarded as a communicative practice that conveys narratives through various formats, including writing, imagery, and materials.
