Multimedia performance presented in the Helsinki Railway Station. Finnexia® served as the primary artistic production of my doctoral research. The project served as a way to generate public dialogue about the experience of the foreigner in Finland. Finnexia® consists of a multimedia ad campaign for a (fictitious) medication that helps people learn the Finnish language. The project also presents a satirical commentary on aspects of over-medicalization in society.
