title = "Elements of a process of human capitalization by developing-world entrepreneurs",
abstract = "With an explicit focus on informing the entrepreneur training programs that permeate the developed world, we undertake a qualitative study of entrepreneurial learning in this context. Through iterating heavily between data and theory, we develop a number of theoretical insights. Chief amongst them are insights into how social networks act as a means of furthering the learning process for entrepreneurs who face novel situations – almost always challenges – and lack adequate understanding to take appropriate action. We also develop theory around the role that social networks play in building a broader community of learning around an enterprise.",
