Research output: Artistic and non-textual formExhibitionArt in coproductionpeer-review

The Quart Pottery Museum hosted an international symposium around the local traditional way to make black ceramics. The 16 professional ceramists participated to the event from Spain, German, Finland, Latvia, Turkey and the United States. During the two weeks symposium the artists created works from the local clay by using different techniques. After the workshop, the local artisan potters fired the works in their kilns by using a firing technique that resulted in black pieces. The Exhibition displayed the selection of the finished pieces.
