Abstract

Two works shown in the Caring Futures exhibition.

ÆON is a speculation of a world where aging can be reversed by genome-
editing. The work consists of three parts: the proof-of-concept-experiment in
the laboratory, the technology as a semi-speculative consumer device and
poetic story realized as triptych of photographs.

Eudaimonia is a philosophical-speculative future scenario where human
psyche and character has become a matter of molecular biology and can be
altered with personalized genome editing device.
