Abstract
Cadastral systems are widely recognised as important tools for providing trusted spatial data to benefit the society. To provide a tool for evaluation and comparison of mature cadastral systems, and for an in-depth understanding of their role and value, we review existing literature to develop a holistic framework and illustrate its applicability via a case study. The framework highlights the importance of considering a wide variety of features to accurately characterise mature systems. The case study findings indicate that the framework facilitates evaluation of mature cadastral systems and finding meaningful differences between systems.
