Abstract

This paper investigates performance of CDMA and TDMA multiple access techniques for 3rd generation wireless systems. In the analysis we use the GSM/DCS air interface and its future enhancements, and a wideband CDMA air interface exploiting multiuser detection (WB-CDMA).
