Abstract

This paper presents the calculation of the AC loss factor of a hairpin winding configuration using an analytical approach. For this purpose, the layer conductor model is developed to evaluate the AC loss factor. Moreover, the numerical model was created, and the collected numerical data was used to successfully validate the proposed analytical method.
