TruSoNet: Digitalizing Trust for Securing Pervasive Social Networking

Project Details

Description

Pervasive Social Networking (PSN) supports instant social activities at anytime and anywhere with the support of heterogeneous networks. Security and privacy protection are crucial issues that impact its development and final success, while trust plays a decisive role therein. However, the literature still lacks systematic studies on trust, security and privacy in PSN. The proposed research investigates PSN security and privacy protection technologies based on trust management in order to solve three research problems: the trustworthiness and privacy preservation of trust evaluation, the adaptability of social data access control and the anonymity of
authentication on trust. The research aims to achieve a suite of algorithms, protocols and schemes based on trust management to ensure security and privacy in PSN.
